Dry eyes are well known to cause irritation and discomfort. The Blepharitis eye disorder which causes itchy eyes, can be caused by skin conditions or bacterial. With blepharitis eye disorder, the eyelids become itchy, scaly, and dry.
Some people can have itchy eyes due to the solutions used to clean their contact lens, which can cause inflammation, itching, discomfort, and redness. Eczema, allergic rhinitis and Asthma can cause itchy eyes. Sensitivity to particular cosmetic products can also cause itchy eyes
Home Remedies for Itchy Eyes
1. Cold Milk
Cold Milk is a very effective home remedy to treat the itchy eyes. This remedy can be used in a two ways. You need to dip a clean cotton ball in cold milk and then rub the cotton ball around your eyes. Moreover, you can place cotton soaked in milk on the eyes for cooling effect. You need to apply it 2-3 times a day.
2. Pure Rosewater
Rosewater is also a very useful remedy to get rid of itchy eyes. It is cooling and soothing for the eyes. You need to wash your eyes with rose water 2 times a day. Alternatively, you can also use this remedy as a natural eye drops for quick relief from itchy eyes. You need to put 3 drops of rosewater into the affected eye.
3. Cold Compress
If you apply the cold compresses around your affected area of the eye, it will help you to get immediate relief. The easiest method to do this is to soak a clean cloth in cold water and place it over your eyes and leave for a few minutes.
Moreover, you can also utilize Chamomile tea bags as a cold compresses will also relieve your eyes.
How to use Chamomile tea bags?
- Place used these tea bags in the freezer for 30 min.

Cucumber is one of the best home remedy to get relief from itchy eyes. It has anti-irritation properties that help in reducing swelling, puffiness, irritation and inflammation contributing to itchy eyes.
- Wash a cucumber and cut cucumber into small pieces. You need to place the slice of cucumber in refrigerate for 15 minutes, and then place chilled slice over your affected eyes for 10 minutes.

5. Salt and Water
