A swollen uvula is not an illness or critical condition, although, it can precede other issues in the body. There are various different remedies that you would like to consider investigating if your uvula is swollen and it begins to irritate you.

Swelling of the uvula may become specifically irritating, you would like to try and ease the suffering without consulting with the doctors. Obviously, these are only a few of the most well known home remedies for swollen uvula that may be used to cure this condition without any adverse effect.

Gargle with the warm saline water

This solution can be made with the mixture of a little salt to warm water.

Chewing Garlic

Chew 3 to 4 cloves of garlic to detract the infection and cure an enlarged uvula.

Drinking Turmeric Water

If you are suffering from swollen uvula disorder, you can drink a solution by mixing a little turmeric to a cup of cold water.

Fresh onion juice

If you are suffering from the uvulitis, it is suggested that you need to intake of vitamin C to increase your immune system and help fight off infections.

Stop smoking and drinking

Avoid fried and oily foods

If you are suffering from uvulitis, you should not eat oily and fried foods as these foods will only increase the inflammation and irritation.
